The New York Giants received a pleasant surprise when running back Andre Williams put on a solid rookie campaign. Williams is ready to build off of his first season and continue to move forward in the 2015 season. If he continues to improve, he can possibly become the Giants’ next starting running back.
The Giants selected Williams in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. While he did have a subpar 3.3 yards per carry average, he managed to score seven touchdowns. He had 721 rushing yards total, which is a solid contribution for a running back in his first season.
