After Jerry Reese all but emptied his pockets in the first days of free agency, NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah has the New York Giants selecting Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell in his latest mock draft.
Treadwell is the consensus top receiver in the draft and receiver All-SEC and All-American honors. While at 6’2”, 210 pounds, he has an NFL frame but not overwhelming size. He has strong hands and is a natural ball catcher, but he’s not yet an accomplished route runner. Scouts across the board say he has a nasty streak and he’s been compared to Dez Bryant.
