Nate Solder needs to be a better run blocker in second year with Giants

In March of 2018, veteran left tackle Nate Solder signed on to be the first building block of the New York Giants’ offensive line of the future. After seven seasons with the New England Patriots, where Solder earned two Super Bowl rings, he was inked to a four-year, $62 million contract ($35 million guaranteed) by the Giants which made him the highest-paid offensive lineman in the NFL at the time.

The results, however, were not exactly what the Giants had anticipated. Solder has never been named to the Pro Bowl and Giant fans may now know why. He’s an average lineman.
