Less than halfway through his first season in blue, Nate Solder has already suffered more regular-season losses than in any of his first seven years in the NFL. He lost fewer games the last two full seasons combined.
Still, the Giants’ left tackle doesn’t look at his decision to leave the Patriots with any regret, despite Big Blue’s 1-6 start and the recent trades that signify a rebuild is on the way.
“I was certainly not expecting [the trades], but I am so thankful to be here under the leadership of [general manager Dave] Gettleman, coach [Pat] Shurmur,” he said on Friday following practice.
