Former NFL wide receiver and NFL Network analyst Nate Burleson mentioned on Friday’s “Good Morning Football” that he thinks that New York Giants’ rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney is a “major steal” after they traded down and used the 20th overall pick on him.
In his analysis of Toney, Burleson compared him to former Giants’ wide receiver Victor Cruz because of his ability to make cuts and avoid defenders.
Even though Toney isn’t the biggest player on the field, he is a physical player that will lower his shoulder, which is a plus. He can also take screen passes and let his talent do the rest to move the ball down the field.
