Nat Berhe may be late to the station, but he's happy to see the train hasn't pulled out just yet.
The second-year safety missed all of the Giants' spring workouts and most of this training camp with a calf injury that kept him from participating in an open competition for both starting jobs. But now that he is close to returning to the field - he was scheduled to do some running and drills on Monday - he's excited that the competition is still just as wide open as it was at the start of camp.
In fact, it may be more so after injuries to Landon Collins and Mykkele Thompson.
