EAST RUTHERFORD -- Sometimes a glove is just a glove.
It's the offseason, so now is the time that even the smallest thing can become a storyline. So, it stood out that Giants starting quarterback Eli Manning (and backups Josh Johnson and Geno Smith) have been wearing gloves on their non-throwing hand during Organized Team Activities (OTAs).
Manning has worn a glove on his left hand in the past, but typically only in cold weather, such as the Giants' 38-13 loss in Green Bay in the Wild-Card round of the playoffs in January.
