Moonachie home of Giants player vandalized with hate messages, report says

The Moonachie apartment of Giants fullback Nikita Whitlock was scrawled with racial slurs after vandals broke into the apartment, according to a report.

The incident was part of a wave of hate crimes that have swept through the area, police said. Whitlock told CBS it was the second time in the last few weeks his apartment was vandalized. It also happened during the Thanksgiving holiday, he said.

Whitlock's home was marked with "KKK" and "Go back to Africa" on Tuesday night while he was away, CBS New York reported. Police said only a few items were stolen from the home, where he lives with his wife and two children.
