Mistake-prone Giants fall apart in Philadelphia, lose to Eagles

PHILADELPHIA -- Ooh boy, did the New York Giants start out this one looking good. A bacon-crisp opening touchdown drive, a quick three-and-out by the defense and then they were moving the ball again so smoothly, looking like a sure bet to go up by two scores right away.

And then...

And then it all fell apart. I mean, all of it. Eli Manning threw an interception (actually a pretty good pass that Eagles linebacker DeMeco Ryans ripped out of the arms of Larry Donnell. Damontre Moore extended the Eagles' drive with a stupid roughing-the-passer penalty. The penalties and the turnovers kept coming, the yards and points stopped, the Eagles scored 27 points in a row and when the smoke cleared, the Giants' three-game winning streak had ended with a 27-7 loss to their division rivals on the other end of the Turnpike.
