EAST RUTHERFORD -- If Sunday's NFC Wild-Card game at Lambeau Field is to be the beginning of another special playoff run for the Giants, limiting the damage inflicted by Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers must be the defense's top priority.
Given Rodgers' ability to win from the pocket by making any throw on the route-tree and uncanny escapability under pressure, stopping him will be no easy task.
"When you are a great player," Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo said Rodgers on Thursday at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center. "And an elite player, and one of the top quarterbacks in the league - take away this and he goes that way, take away that and he goes this way, so look, there are some things that we think we need to do.
