Mike McCarthy is Big Apple-bound.
The Giants will interview the former Super Bowl-winning Packers coach this weekend, ESPN.com reported Tuesday.
McCarthy, who was fired from the Packers in December 2018 after 13 seasons, interviewed for the Carolina Panthers job earlier this month. McCarthy, 56, has reportedly spent recent months prepping for an NFL return, which includes lining up a staff.
The Giants fired head coach Pat Shurmur on Monday after two disappointing seasons. They are also expected to interview Cowboys defensive passing game coordinator Kris Richard on Thursday, and have already requested interviews with Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy and Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
