The Matthew Stafford mystery with the Los Angeles Rams has witnessed a new development. The Rams given Stafford’s agent permission to talk to other teams to determine his financial value, NFL insider Tom Pelissero said on ‘The Rich Eisen Show.’
Stafford is due $27 million from Los Angeles in 2025, only $4 million of which is guaranteed. Pelissero said that is “clearly below the line of what the top quarterbacks are making.”
Could the New York Giants be one of those “other clubs” that Stafford’s agent reaches out to? The quarterback-needy Giants have been continuously connected to the 37-year-old Stafford this offseason.
