The Giants carry only three defensive linemen, with Montori Hughes listed as the lone backup behind Kuhn and Jay Bromley.
Kuhn has 17 combined tackles, 0.5 sacks and a fumble recovery in nine games this season, his fourth in the NFL. He’s been largely ineffective since the Giants selected him in the seventh round of the 2012 draft.
