New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers “will try to play” on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, according to an early-morning report from NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Nabers suffered a hip flexor during practice on Thursday and was listed as questionable.
Per Schefter, Nabers is expected to test the injury during pre-game warm-ups and would play “more of a limited role” even if he does dress.
Despite missing two games with a concussion, Nabers is sixth in the NFL with 75 receptions. His average of 7.5 receptions per game leads the league.
