EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers appears to have avoided a major injury after leaving the team’s practice early on Sunday. Giants coach Brian Daboll said Monday that Nabers is "day-to-day" with a left ankle sprain.
Nabers, the sixth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, has been a star of training camp for the Giants. He limped off the field late in Sunday’s practice, but did not immediately go inside the team’s facility to have the ankle looked at. He even sat for an interview with Kay Adams after practice.
