New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers has joined the ranks of the team’s injured players. Nabers is not practicing on Friday due to a hip flexor injury he apparently sustained during Thursday’s practice.
Head coach Brian Daboll did not rule him out of Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints prior to Friday’s practice.
Linebacker Bobby Okereke (back), defensive tackle Rakeem Nunez-Roches (neck) and cornerback Deonte Banks (rib) did not practice for a third straight day.
The Giants placed star defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence (dislocated elbow) and tight end Theo Johnson (Lisfranc) on injured reserve this week.
