The New York Giants used one of their first round picks back in 2019 on defensive end Dexter Lawrence and it looks like it’s paying off.
After Lawrence’s second season in the NFL, he was one of the highest graded second year defenders, according to Pro Football Focus.
Lawrence recorded 37 solo tackles, 14 assists, and four sacks in 2020.
If the Giants can keep building around Lawrence by keeping Leonard Williams and bolster the outside linebacker position, it will free him up to wreak even more havoc on opposing offenses.
