Zak DeOssie was the Giants' easiest free-agent negotiation this offseason. The team wanted to keep DeOssie and the long snapper had no desire to play anywhere else, so they agreed to a two-year, $2.315 million contract on Feb. 24, two weeks before he could test the market.
The contract, which includes $400,000 guaranteed, is for the NFL's veteran minimum for a player with the experience of the 10-year veteran.
"Long snapper contract negotiations are not rocket science and the Giants treat their players with respect," DeOssie said in an interview with NJ Advance Media.
