EAST RUTHERFORD — Decision day is here for the Giants.
After making headlines on Wednesday with the release of popular punter Steve Weatherford and swinging a trade for new punter Brad Wing, the Giants have until 4 p.m. on Saturday to finalize their first 53-man roster of the 2015 season.
What does that mean? The Giants started the day with 75 players on their roster, which means they will have to make 22 roster moves by the league deadline in order to get down to 53.
ONE LAST CRACK: Jordan Raanan's final 53-man projection
Among the popular names on the cut line: Linebacker Uani Unga, fullback Nikita Whitlock, safeties Brandon Meriweather and Jeromy Miles, receivers James Jones, Corey Washington and Preston Parker and running back Orleans Darkwa.
