NEW YORK (WFAN) — The Giants’ all-time leading wide receiver stopped by the WFAN studios Friday afternoon and talked about how his former team is doing, including those who play his old position.
In an interview with Mike Francesa, Amani Toomer praised Odell Beckham Jr. and rookie Sterling Shepard, but added that it’s important for Beckham to make sure his emotions do not hurt the team.
“I think it’s part of his game, and you live with it,” Toomer said. “But when you’re not on the field because of your penalites — when he got suspended last year — or when you give your team 15-yard penalties that kill drives on already a struggling offense … it’s a problem.
