New York Giants defensive tackle Jay Bromley will not be charged by police following a January incident in which a woman said he tried to sexually assault her and then struck her with his car while fleeing, according to a statement from his attorney and a media report.
"As we stated from the outset, the allegations against Mr. Bromley were completely false," Bromley's attorney, Alex Spiro, said in a statement released Friday. "Today, Mr. Bromley has been officially cleared of all wrongdoing. We are thankful to law enforcement for their efforts, and are hopeful that the focus can now return to Jay Bromley's remarkable story.
