Taylor was the only representative from either of New York’s teams to be chosen. The Hall of Fame linebacker helped propel the Giants to world titles after the 1986 and 1990 seasons.
Joe Montana, who won four Super Bowls with the San Francisco 49ers, was voted the team’s quarterback over Tom Brady and Terry Bradshaw, who also have won four each.
