The Giants have been to five Super Bowls, they’ve won four of them and they’ve produced three different Super Bowl MVPs.
But only one Giant landed on the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s all-time Super Bowl team.
That honor went to Lawrence Taylor, the lone Giant honored when the Pro Football Hall of Fame Board of Selectors released its “Super Bowl 50 Golden Team.” The team of 27 — which consisted of 11 offensive players, 12 defensive players, three specialists and a coach — was based on “the best overall career performances in the Super Bowl,” the NFL said in its release.
