Legendary Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor did things on a football field that nobody had done before or since. It landed him in the Hall of Fame, and in some minds he's the NFL's greatest defensive player of all time.
Taylor doesn't quite see it that way. He put himself third on the list of all-time greatest defensive players, behind Reggie White and Deacon Jones. Current Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt was fourth.
"In front of me I see guys like Reggie White (and) Deacon Jones," Taylor told the Houston Chronicle during an appearance on Saturday.
