New York Giants general manager Jerry Reese indicated at the NFL Scouting Combine this week that tight end Larry Donnell still hasn’t been cleared to play football after missing the final eight games of this past season with a neck injury.
“Hopefully he’ll be able to continue to play,’’ Reese said, via the NY Post. “We’re expecting him to be back, but necks can be tricky. We’ll have to wait and see where that goes.
“We have a couple young tight ends on the roster that we like,’’ Reese said, referring to both Will Tye and Matt LaCosse.
