After losing another quarterback to a broken leg, this time back-up Colt McCoy, the ‘Skins will be down to third-stringer Mark Sanchez versus the New York Giants on Sunday. But the G-Men will apparently be without a big piece of their defense, as it’s been reported that safety Landon Collins will miss the contest due to a shoulder injury.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network was the first to break that story that Collins would sit out due to injury in the NFC East clash. Since then, additional reports have been published on social indicating that the New York Giants strong safety may need surgery.
