The Giants might not see one of their stars on the field for a while.
Safety Landon Collins may need a second surgery on his right forearm, the NFL Network reported Wednesday. Collins broke the bone in late December and it has not healed as quickly as he hoped, according to the report.
The two-time Pro Bowler would be back in time for training camp if he undergoes surgery soon to insert a plate into the arm, but would miss the spring offseason program. The recovery time from the surgery would be six-to-eight weeks before he could return to football activity.
