The New York Giants got one of their best players back on the field when practice started on Thursday.
It was a surprise when All-Pro safety Landon Collins needed surgery to help his fractured forearm heal. He suffered the injury in week 16 last year, landing him on the injured reserve for the team’s final game. The injury, and subsequent surgery, kept him out of most of the Giants’ off-season program, and he participated only sparingly in the later stages of the spring.
