Every time the Giants made a draft pick last weekend they stared at the name of La’el Collins, an offensive lineman with first-round talent, who took a long, strange tumble through the NFL draft. In the end, they decided not to draft him or sign him.
Now they’ll have to play against him twice a year instead.

The 6-4, 305-pound lineman signed with the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, getting a fully guaranteed, three-year, $1.65 million contract as an undrafted free agent, according to an NFL source.
