EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — New York Giants who have been clamoring to see rookie Kyle Lauletta in game action are a step closer to getting their wish. Lauletta is active for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears, the first time the fourth-round pick will dress for a regular-season game.
Lauletta being active means that veteran Alex Tanney, the backup for the first 11 games, will be inactive.
Lauletta completed 17-of-35 passes (48.6 percent) for 194 yards and one touchdown during the preseason. Tanney has not played a snap this season.
