A 10-year-old Packers fan wrote to Aaron Rodgers before Sunday’s playoff game against the Giants and said he “would like to see you throw a hail mary” — lo and behold, the rocket-armed QB closed the first half with a 42-yard touchdown prayer to Randall Cobb.
Jackson Hendrickson, who said he would be wearing his Rodgers jersey while watching from his living room in Jacksonville, Fla., filled out the form letter in the buildup to the game, according to his father Eric’s post on Twitter.
“You guys always kick butt and you are the best” was Jackson’s printed prediction: Rodgers finished with four touchdowns and 362 yards in the 38-13 victory.
