The New York Giants have been offensive line struggles of late (to put it kindly) and it has affected their ability to score points and win football games. General manager Dave Gettleman has been quoted as saying that big bodies allow to compete. His affinity for the “hog mollies” as he calls his linemen is evident in the personnel moves he’s made since taking over the team eighteen months ago.
Gettleman has changed everything about the offensive line. He signed former New England Patriots left tackle Nate Solder last March to an over-market contract to play left tackle.
