Justin Tuck will take final bow as a New York Giant on Friday

Former Giants defensive end will bid farewell to the NFL, and to the Giants.

As many fans hoped he would, defensive end Justin Tuck will sign a one-day contract and retire as a member of the New York Giants. His retirement will officially take place on Friday, per a report that came first from Dan Graziano of ESPN.

Tuck, drafted in the third round in 2007, was a key contributor to two Super Bowl-winning teams during nine seasons with the Giants. He compiled 60.5 sacks with the Giants, four times reaching double digits.
