While watching Monday night’s College Football National Championship game between Ohio State and Alabama, former New York Giants’ defensive end Justin Tuck tweeted that Big Blue have to trade up to get Bama wide receiver Devonta Smith in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Smith finished the game with 12 catches for 215 yards and three touchdowns as Alabama rolled over Ohio State 52-24.
Smith’s former teammate and current Giants’ rookie safety Xavier McKinney was certainly excited. I’m sure he would love to play with Smith again.
Even before last night’s game Smith was likely going to be taken in the top five of the 2021 NFL Draft, but I think now he will definitely be taken by the Miami Dolphins who have the third overall pick.
