The New York Giants needed to sure up their pass defense this offseason and, depending on who you ask, did just that. They added some pass rushers and multiple cover guys using seven of their ten draft picks on defensive players.
One of those defensive players is Notre Dame cornerback Julian Love, who many believe was underdrafted as a fourth round pick. The 5’11”, 195-pound Chicago native was mocked by most experts to be selected as high as the second round.
“Pure and simple, Love is a cover guy who possesses the feet, hips, instincts and competitiveness you want in a corner,” wrote NFL Network draft analyst Lance Zierlein.
