JPP’s rosy outlook: No more club hand, straight fingers

Jason Pierre-Paul vows he will not wear that massive, unwieldy club on his right hand in 2016, ditching the protective wrapping that prevented the Giants defensive end from getting a grip.

“To be honest, the only reason I played with the club last year is because my fingers weren’t straight, you know what I mean?’’ Pierre-Paul said Friday on SiriusXM NFL Radio.

Pierre-Paul’s right hand was devastated in a July 4 fireworks accident that led to the amputation of his right index finger and more than half his right thumb, plus damage to his right middle finger.
