Jason Pierre-Paul 10-day hospital stay has come to a close, a source familiar with his whereabouts told The Post on Tuesday afternoon.
The defensive end is believed to have returned home after a July 4 fireworks accident resulted in him having his right index finger amputated, getting pins inserted into his broken right thumb and needing skin grafts to repair severe burns. The full extent of those injuries, however, are unknown.
A Jackson Memorial Hospital spokesperson declined to offer any new information Tuesday, but the Miami hospital has been tight-lipped since a photo of Pierre-Paul’s medical chart was posted by ESPN’s Adam Schefter last Wednesday.
