Josh Huff, arrested earlier in the week for speeding and found to have both marijuana and an unregistered gun in his car, has been released by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Eagles’ coach Doug Pederson had told New York media earlier in the week that “until I get more information” Huff, a wide receiver, would play Sunday against the New York Giants.
Apparently, Pederson and the Eagle organization have enough information now that they have decided it is best to move on from the 25-year-old 2014 third-round draft pick.
Huff had only 13 receptions for 72 yards so far this season.
