Nearly a full week after new revelations in the domestic violence case involving Josh Brown, the New York Giants have released the placekicker.
In a statement released with the announcement Giants’ co-owner John Mara rleeased a statement acknowledging that the teams “beliefs, our judgments and our decisions were misguided” in their handling of the Brown situation.
Mara’s full statement:
“We believed we did the right thing at every juncture in our relationship with Josh,” said team president John Mara. “Our beliefs, our judgments and our decisions were misguided. We accept that responsibility.
