The New York Giants just picked up the fifth-year option for star running back Saquon Barkley, so they’re invested in him through the 2022 NFL season. And the good news is that he is expected to be ready for week one of the regular season, according to a report that came out at the end of April.
Giants’ co-owner and brother of Steve Tisch, Jonathan Tisch, recently spoke with TMZ Sports and said that he doesn’t know if Barkley will be ready for the start of the regular season.
He told us he’s pleased with what he’s heard about Barkley’s rehab so far.
