Jonathan Casillas has message for Roger Goodell

NFL players have never been shy about sharing their displeasure about Thursday night football. Most of the games are bad and it doesn’t make sense when player safety has been such a hot topic over the past few years. Having them play on such a short week is a really bad idea.

Commissioner Roger Goodell made it clear on Wednesday that Thursday night football isn’t going anywhere.

“There has been a lot of discussion about the safety of the game, but we have seen absolutely no indication there is any further risk of injuries and injury rates are actually slightly lower on Thursday night than they are on Sundays,” Goodell said.
