New York Giants’ fans can finally say that the Jon Beason experiment has failed. Beason was placed on season ending IR today with knee and ankle issues. This is not a surprise because Beason has been on and off the field ever since he was traded to the Giants.
Believe it or not, the Giants are really hurt by this loss. Beason is a valuable commodity when he plays. Middle linebacker is the quarterback of the defense and it is essential that the player knows what they are doing. Having a seasoned veteran at that position is the best bet.
