EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants owner John Mara and GM Jerry Reese will soon begin the extensive process of searching for a successor to Tom Coughlin.
Mara said there’s no timetable set but that the search has begun. Mara did not rule anything out from looking at the college level to even perhaps parting with a draft pick as compensation for a coach although Mara said that has not been discussed.
Two candidates Mara said he would interview are both in-house with offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo and defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.
“The search will be extensive,” Mara said.
