After the Giants refused an opportunity to match Matt Rhule’s seven-year, $62 million offer from the Panthers without even first interviewing him, Judge signed a five-year deal to be the 19th head coach in franchise history, The Post confirmed. Judge’s annual salary is believed to exceed $5 million.
“There are always risks when you hire a coach who’s never been a head coach before,” co-owner John Mara said. “I’m just excited about what he brings to the table here. He has a certain poise and presence about him.
