Right after the New York Giants’ drafted wide receiver Kadarius Toney with the 20th overall pick he made it clear that he can throw a football pretty far. This makes sense given that he was a high school quarterback.
Jim Nagy, who runs the Reese’s Senior Bowl told the Giants Huddle podcast that David Morris, who trained both Eli Manning and Daniel Jones says that Toney can throw the ball.
“He’s told me Kadarius can throw it over 70 [yards] from his feet,” Nagy said. “I don’t know about from the knee, but he said, he’s like, ‘Jim, I’ve really thought that if someone had given Kadarius a chance to play quarterback, he could have ended up being Lamar Jackson.
