FLORHAM PARK -- Will Tye didn't even have to change his mailing address.
A day after the Giants handed him his walking papers, the Jets won the seven-team waiver-wire bid for the versatile tight end's services. In a week, Tye went from buried on the Giants depth chart, to potentially the Jets' starter for this Sunday's season opener against the Bills.
Earlier this week, Tye sat down with NJ Advance Media for a Q&A. Here's what he had to say about getting cut by the Giants, joining the Jets, his early impressions of John Morton's offense, and more.
