Jerry Reese calls Jason Pierre-Paul's season a 'miracle'

INDIANAPOLIS -- It's become clear over the past couple of days at the NFL combine that the New York Giants would like to re-sign free-agent defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul. Whether they can agree to a contract before free agency opens March 9 and other teams can come in and pay him more than they're willing to pay him remains to be seen. But after coach Ben McAdoo praised Pierre-Paul on Wednesday, Giants GM Jerry Reese had some encouraging words about him Thursday.

"Well, we know him better, I think, than anybody else would know him," Reese said. "We're hopeful that this procedure he had after the season helps him with respect to the hand injury that he has.
