Veteran cornerback Jerraud Powers, whom the New York Giants had in for a free-agent visit before the 2016 NFL Draft, has reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens.
Even though they drafted Eli Apple in the first round the Giants have continued to seek veteran cornerback help. They recently had Leon Hall in for a free-agent visit. With Powers off the market, perhaps the Giants will move aggressively to bring in Hall. Perhaps they will wait until later this summer to see who else becomes available.
The Giants have Janoris Jenkins, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Apple as their top three corners.
