Pierre-Paul arrived in the New York area on Monday and spent time visiting with the team's coaches and front office personnel in the afternoon after undergoing a physical examination from team doctors in Manhattan earlier in the day. ESPN reported that the Giants were "encouraged" by those meetings, but there is no timeline for his return.
Pierre-Paul and his representatives seem to believe he can play as soon as Sunday's opener against the Cowboys -- his agents sent video of his training to the team according to an NFL Network report -- and thereby collect the entirety of the $14.
