The rapid progress of Jason Pierre-Paul continues.
On Wednesday, exactly one week after returning to the Giants, the defensive end is scheduled to practice, coach Tom Coughlin said. Pierre-Paul, who mangled his own right hand in an infamous Fourth of July fireworks accident, was scheduled to work with both the scout team and the main defensive unit.
"He'll practice today, he'll practice tomorrow," said Coughlin. "He'll get a good amount of reps, and we'll take it from there."
Coughlin said the move had nothing to do with the Giants' defensive implosion in New Orleans on Sunday.
